The people at the University branch provide real customer service. They made everything easy. Tavian, the manager, is kind and helpful. So are his staff. My friend forgot something in the truck, and the staff saved it, unharmed. Registration, return, and everything in between were simple and handled in a friendly and respectful manner. This experience cannot be surpassed.

This place is absolutely amazing!
I came early in the morning I was greeted and taken care of all in less than 15 minutes. It would have been even shorter if I didn’t have to move my money around for final payment. They took my out-of-state license with no question.(Ga) I opted out of the truck insurance. It wasn’t a problem. My total was 75 bucks for basically all day.

I rented the truck about 8 AM and returned it at 3PM with ease. I pulled up and asked the two gentlemen what should I do with the truck and they basically said I could leave it there and they would take care of it U-Haul had valet service who knew!
They asked for a review and I said I would gladly do that for them. If you need a truck for anything, please go to this location because they got it going on here.

I was so impressed. This is the best Uhaul store I have ever seen. This place is clean and well stocked and the staff are friendly and kind. I will go back again for my moving supplies. Kia helped me and I really appreciated her. It was a very positive experience for me. They also have a place to pick up or drop off used boxes.

The manager Tavian is horrible and very disrespectful. He lack the basic skills and knowledge of how a service like this works. He is rude, nonchalant and full of arrogance, plus he is an empty handed who thinks he can talk to customers as he pleases.
After you return an equipment, they don’t check you out and after a couple of days you start getting calls and emails that you still have the equipment. This location need to be shut down.
Please avoid this location, don’t take your business here, he will learn the hard way for disrespecting customers.

Helped a Friend move who rented from this location. Rental truck was fine, but they did not have the dolly that we rented with it. Saying they were out. That made our move much harder as we were banking on it to move our furniture. Why let us rent if you don't have it in your inventory? And we hadn't even pulled into the location when someone was flagging us down saying we can't park there and we had to take the car with us when we left. Weird. Thats not what happens at other locations where you can leave your car and take the uHaul truck that you are renting. Also the staff here is uncourteous to say the least.

The Truck itself was ok and as expected.

The staff was overwhelmed and while they were very polite and clearly trying to do their best, it took over an hour to get the lot cleared enough to access our rental. This wasn't even the location we made our rental for, we were notified that it had been moved here, so it was already a less convenient pick up location. For the sake of both employees and customers, U-Haul should not offer reservations or rentals until an hour after the employees can be scheduled to arrive at a site like this. With the equipment quantity that is clearly moving through this location, it is a disservice to all that so little time is alloted to prepare for the day.

I wish I could give a zero star rating because that is the quality of service I received. I made a 9am reservation to have a trailer hitch installed on my vehicle — also indicating that I would be waiting for the install (not just dropping off). Upon arriving at 9am, I joined a handful of people waiting outside because apparently the manager/opener was late arriving to work. We got in after about a 15 minute wait.

I gave them my reservation and handed over my keys. I asked for an estimate on how long it typically takes and was told about 1-1.5hrs and was told they would give me a call when it was ready.

To pass the time, I walked around the neighborhood and to a nearby coffee shop. After about 2 hours, I still hadn’t received a call, but figured that it must be close so I headed back. When I got there (2hr 20min after my reservation), my vehicle was sitting in the exact same place, not started at all!

Frustrated, I went in to see what the deal was and when I asked why the install hadn’t even started, I was simply told that, “he hasn’t come in yet”.

Seriously!? Not a call to tell me it was delayed, not a hint of an apology, not an iota of courtesy… absolutely nothing! I asked for my keys back and cancelled my install.

Save yourself hours of your day, frustration, and having to write a long-winded negative review, and take your business to somewhere else that gives a damn.

Go up
