We had a late and unexpected deep sea fishing trip and needed a quick tune up on our son’s reel and rod. We heard good things about Bird Road Bait & Tackle and decided to pass. We chatted a while with the shop manager (Rafael) and he was very nice and informative. We met the business owner (Alex) and he was absolutely AMAZING. He took his time looking over the rod and reel and explained to our son how to handle the rod/reel as well and what to look at. I was so impressed with Alex’s knowledge, passion and the amazing customer service he gave us. He’s got this families business for the future. It’s rare you find someone who honestly wants to please their customers and is not driven by the monetary aspect of the business. Thank you Alex & Rafael for everything you did for our son. It was a pleasure to meet you guys and we will continue to come back to the shop.

Came down for 2 days to catch peacock bass and ended up here to get bait. These guys provided OUTSTANDING service and advice! I never caught peacock bass but they gave me a location and I started catching 10 minutes in! I’m so happy, you guy’s truly made my day. I will be back, Thank you!!!

It was 11 pm, my friend just got into town and wanted to fish. We found the nearest open bait shop and went. we got here to bird rd bait and tackle shop and Alex was amazing. He gave us suggestions of spots to go fish and was super friendly and answered all of our questions. 100% recommend this place if you’re looking for bait and tackle and he even does charters to take you out and fish offshore! Totally cool and awesome guy and awesome shop!!

Literally just tried to get into the store and it's locked even though it says it's open Mon-Thur. Their open sign is also on and I heard someone in their back area. I just needed some line but there goes my fishing hour for lunch.
