The Homeless Empowerment Program (HEP) played a pivotal role in shaping who I am today. As a child, my family and I faced immense hardships, but HEP provided us with the support, stability, and resources we desperately needed to move forward. Their dedication to empowering families like mine gave us the opportunity to rebuild our lives.

Through their programs, I not only found safety and structure but also the inspiration to dream bigger. Today, I am proud to have recently graduated with my Master of Social Work (MSW) and am committed to serving others just as HEP served me. The values of compassion, service, and perseverance instilled in me during my time with HEP remain the driving force in my career and life.

I will forever be grateful to HEP for giving my family hope during our darkest times and helping me break the cycle of hardship. Their impact reaches far beyond immediate relief—it builds futures.

I had a really nice friend that lived there for a while. He fell on hard times because he lost his job and had health problems. He was very active in the church and helped and the thrift store there. It's a wonderful organization for families or people in transition etc.

A truly hard to find kindness and compassion abounds ar HEP. A talented, caring "Cream of the Crop" group of enthusiastic professionals give their "All" to the care of clients! It is warmly refreshing to be taken care of by the World's finest caregivers with their genuine love and care ❤️

You will find no finer place for shelter, reconnecting and starting over. HEP is a nonprofit organization with it's roots long and deep in the community. Organizations you will need that are not already represented here on the property are close to hand through their long relationship with HEP, and there is guidance through the process as needed. Most of all, HEP is that rare shelter where respect and patience are shown, and it is understood that the process of coming in off the streets is not aided by dictatorial pressure to show a pretense of approval, trust, belief and endorsement from the time you pass through the doors. HEP is real people, really interested in your uplifting, and it always was. Best of the best.
