Sehr gutes Hotel, etwas abseits von Carlsbad, liegt in einem Gewerbegebiet. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen.
Kleiner Außenpool. Zimmer zur Straßenseite etwas laut. Frühstück für amerikanische Verhältnisse super.

The check in with Debbie was fast and courteous a nice beginning to a 5 star stay. We will return to Fairfield Carlsbad the area was clean quiet safe and secure. The breakfast and July were a pleasant way to start our day. The indoor fireplace was cozy and comforting while we ate our breakfast watched the telli and drank hot cocoa. If we return to Carlsbad this will be our hotel of choice.

I had a late check in and couldn’t have had better service at check in. Debbie was really quick to check me in and very informative on places to eat and places to go nearby. I didn’t have a form printed out that I needed at check in and she was nice enough to let me email it to her and she printed it out for me. 5 out of 5 stars and will be definitely staying here again!

Hotel no longer partners with HotelEngine, had to pay out of pocket at check in. Filed with the booking agency to remove them from the ap. Shame, room and location are good.

Avoid. This hotel re-booked a reserved and confirmed room which my wife and kids were unfortunate to discover at 10PM when they arrived. The excuse was that the credit card didn't go through however it worked just fine at the hotel they had to rebook with.

Upon return home, a call to the general manager MG to discuss what had happened was unapologetic and derisive. They input my wife's email address incorrectly so therefore the lack of communication wasn't their fault. I've stayed at several hotels booked via Mariott and Bonvoy, including a group stay in Scotland, but not anymore. I've never seen a service response so poorly handled.

Nice hotel in a quiet part of town. Kind of off the beaten path but close enough to Carlsbad and Encinitas to drive. The rooms were nice, the breakfast was good and the commute in and out of the hotel was efficient.

I had a terrible experience at the hotel. I had informed the front desk that I would be checking in at 5:30 instead of 3, but my room was still not ready upon my arrival. The room had a strange smell, and the sofa bed had a noticeable yellow stain on the mattress. Additionally, there was a suspicious object behind the bathroom mirror. Despite having the "do not disturb" sign on the door, cleaning staff knocked every 40 minutes. I would advise staying elsewhere if possible.
