I have been seeing Dr. Carolyn Clark for almost 3 years. She is truly exceptional. Extremely thorough and compassionate. I cannot recommend her enough. She has helped me tremendously while dealing with multiple chronic illnesses.

I highly recommend Meaghan Cotter, PMHNP-BC, and the entire team at Mindpath. This journey hasn’t been easy for me, but Meaghan has truly made it better. She is a true gem—exceptionally knowledgeable, thorough, and incredibly kind. She always takes the time to explain things clearly and is great at being mindful and attentive during check-ins. You can tell she genuinely has your best interest at heart, which makes you feel supported, safe, and cared for every step of the way.

The administrative staff at Mindpath are equally fantastic—responsive, professional, and efficient, making scheduling and follow-ups seamless. I am incredibly grateful for the care and support I’ve received from Meaghan and the entire Mindpath team. They have made a challenging journey feel more manageable.

This is my first time on mine path, and my provider was Meghan Cotter. I don’t think I’ve ever had such an amazing intake appointment in any setting….!? Definitely NEVER in a mental health setting!

Meaghan is fantastic and I’m so excited to continue working with her. She was incredibly kind, validating, her feedback was solely focused on pointing out my strengths, and she allowed me to be in the drivers seat when it came to discussing current and past challenges. All of those together made it incredibly easy to feel safe and supported with her during our session and especially so afterwards. Her warm and friendly energy is genuine, and she is just such a lovely human! She specializes in complex trauma, which is something I have been struggling to manage for 8 years now, and I’m so glad I found her! I got a bit emotional after our session because I felt this huge glimpse of hope. I am already looking forward to speaking with her during our next session 🥹😊

Also! I do not want to forget the superstars in the front at their Carlsbad office - 5 🌟 It was very easy to get in touch with them, they were very kind, patient, helpful, and prompt.

Last thing that I think is noteworthy: I recently started a new health insurance and was notified that I needed to go through a prior authorization approval process for my medication, which I was NOT looking forward to. Somehow, they completed the entire process within ONE HOUR of receiving the initial request from my insurance. Mind. Blown.

I just had an appointment with Megan Cotter in Carlsbad, CA and I have never felt like I’ve had a medical professional give me their time and attention the way she did. I felt very safe, heard, and empathized with. I left her office feeling like I was going to be ok and that I wasn’t crazy for the feelings I was having. She’s clearly very passionate and knowledgeable about her job and really personable and trusting.

She immediately made me feel safe in her office during my appointment and allowed me to word vomit all my thoughts and feelings that I haven’t been able to organize in my head and somehow turned my ramblings into detailed notes during my assessment and then made me feel like I actually have a plan to heal myself for the first time in a while.

Dr. Buckingham is very compassionate and thorough. My life is far from normal right now and her advice, plan for care, and professionalism as I had to discuss some embarrassing topics was exceptional. I felt comfortable with her and never met anyone with so much knowledge and ability to connect immediately with her calm dismeanor. Thank you for helping me.

Dishonest and deceitful representives. I called requesting an appointment with a psychiatrist for a minor w severe non-verbal autism that had a violent episode and is currently hospitalized. I was referred by a neurologist. I called them because they were claiming to located in a neighboring city of Carlsbad. They said they specialized in autism and could provide service. The rep said she would have to perform a survey. I informed her that due to our situation and immediate need that I would not be able to commit to the time for a new customer survey if they could not support us. We needed time to repair related house damage and get an appointment w a psychiatrist that was not only qualified but able to help us in an immediate fashion. She assured me that they could and gave me a date of January 9th, 2025 for a telehealth appointment for someone in Sacramento. That was not ideal but needed to get an appointment. She proceeded to perform a survey which asked for sensitive identifying information. Insurance info, names and dates of birth of a minor and parents. I provided information but was reluctant and some of the info was not necessary and again reiterated my concern about their ability to serve us. After she collected info that could be used for identity fraud, she then asked if my son was currently a danger to himself or others. I said yes (as was part of my initial qualifications before providing sensitive info). She then asked if he could keep himself safe. I said no. Again as described in my my initial statement that he had severe non verbal autism and was currently in the hospital for a violent episode. She then put me on hold only to return and tell me they could not help me or my son. Not only did she waste precious time needed to support my son in a timely manner and prevent me from getting help from a professional that could. She willingly disregarded me request from the onset of our call. She took our confidential identifying information for herself and her database. She added stress to an already serious time in our lives. This company is dishonest and prioritizes sensitive data collection before the needs of patients and vulnerable people with Autism. I strongly recommend not using this company. It sounds more like a registry/broker that has alterior motives.

She has been willing to work with me to get me on solid ground again by using both medication and non pharmacological interventions.
