I've volunteered at the Community Food Pantry a number of times over the years and I see the effect their work has on the North Tampa community first hand every time and I'm always so impressed. If you want to donate your money or time, do so with the Community Food Pantry. The have a real, positive impact on the food-insecure families in our area and are just overall doing great stuff.

An example of why this is such a great country - the gift of giving. You won’t realize but until you volunteer at such locations to what lengths your neighbors go to donate and do their parts - the amount of donations is just amazing. Places like these are what makes us proud - this one is one of them where my son volunteers and he has nothing but good words for the polite, helpful and always cheerful individuals running the place. Keep it up and keep shining!

I had never been to a food pantry. I was treated with compassion and respect. The amount of food lasted several weeks which consisted of frozen meets; fresh veggies; eggs; milk and canned foods. The lady Diane helped me over the phone and when I arrived after learning that I was a 71 year old senior new to this. I pray for this ministry.

Long lines and to be honest I went there to drive a friend in need. They have a family of 5 and they received a medium size box with enough food for 2.5 days and a schedule to be back in a month. Dont get me wrong im grateful for any help that good Samaritans do for our community but 2 hours of my time and gas now days is worth 50 usd on the low side. Next time I'll just donate that amount to the family.

I took a group of middle school students to do community service here. This was an absolute amazing experience. We packaged up bags of Thanksgiving dinners, as well as bags of personal care items. These people do great things for the community. I am looking forward to going there and volunteering again. Not only will I volunteer my time, but also volunteer resources to help them accomplish their goals.
