I went to renew my horseless carriage, collector car plates. I was greeted by a very nice gentleman at the front door when he asked if I had an appointment, I explained to him I didn’t know that we had to have one. He was very friendly and said “no problem” he called to the back and spoke to a man named John who said “no problem, send him in. He sent me to the window which I was greeted again by another very kind lady at window 20. She was so friendly and worked expediently to sort through my insurance paperwork and my renewal tags I was in and out of that facility in less than 30 minutes. I was surprisingly shocked and thanked all of them profusely for being so kind and generous. This is typically unusual and a government office, but kudos to this location for their kindness. I wish other offices were as friendly as this one.

The best DMV experience ever! So my license expires tomorrow on Saturday. Couldn't renew online because I needed a DOT physical for my CDL. So I got the DOT physical yesterday and no appointment to get to my local office today. I called the appointment number and they told me I may be able to go to this headquarters location as a walk in and they may be able to atleast upload my DOT physical so I can renew online later tonight. I explained my situation to Jason at the front desk and he made a quick call and they were able to get me in to renew my license to completion!! Elizabeth helped me and was very knowledgeable and efficient and had me quickly taken care of. I even got to take a new license photo! All completed in less than 30 minutes from walking thru the door. This location allowed me to keep my CDL current, update my address info, provide them my DOT physical and get me a new photo in less than 30 minutes. Could not be happier with the service I recieved today!!! Thank you Jason and Elizabeth for helping me in such a time sensitive situation!!!

If you don’t want to actually help people, please find another job that isn’t funded by hard working tax payers that you are rude to.
A bunch of ineffective systems and rude personnel. I brought a social security card, drivers license, w2, marriage certificate, two proofs of address and apparently I needed my passport. The ACTUAL email I received for the appointment doesn’t state that I needed a passport. The kiosk helper couldn’t even find it after she told me “check your email” and I showed it to her. You have to dig around on the musty Colorado DMV website for 10 minutes before finding an obscure hyperlink that states what you need. The kiosk lady gave me 10 mins to have my husband bring my passport and he made it in 12. I didn’t even try to ask her to make an exception since y’all seem to get off on power tripping. So now I have to remake an appointment for 23 days out , wake up 2 hours early again and get off work early to make it to this facility. If you properly instruct people more effectively via email prior to their appointments, perhaps you’ll actually be able to help ppl as opposed to turning them away. It’s almost like it’s nothing to you to inconvenience people who have other things y. Some of us have to take time off work or shift our schedules around in a significant way to accommodate your idiotic business hours.

I called in about a Driver's Record I never ordered and had to wait 3 days because there was too much activity. I called at the earliest convenience 8:30 AM on a Monday. I was then told nothing could be done despite the email for a the Driver Record I didn't order saying to call if I didn't order. Was then given attitude by the operator and immediately transferred without permission and put into another 10 mjnute wait before deciding that it wasn't worth it. Horrendous service that failed in every aspect of their duty and there needs to be change. I didn't even get my refund.

My driver's license was not delivered in the mail due to a USPS mail issue, so I had to pick it up in person at the DMV. I called in advance, and the person I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. When I arrived, I was given a ticket number and then had to wait a little bit, but everything was taken care of professionally and fairly quickly. Restrooms are available, as well as drinking water. Parking for visitors is behind the building near the main entrances.

Really horrible, rude management. Had a unique situation getting my license transferred, and Elise kept interrupting me, talking over me, and refusing to help in anyway. She much preferred to belittle and talk down to those around her instead.
On the bright side, the gentleman at the front desk was more helpful, kind, and understanding - though there was only so much he could do with the terror above him.
Went to the Westminster DMV instead and they were so much more helpful. Would recommend you stay far away from this branch. Shame on you, Elise. Starting the new year off by bullying those trying to get help.

Tried to just simply renew my license and they tell me I have to go to the one in Golden even though it clearly states you can do that here that's what I set the appointment for. Why even make that an option if that's what you're going to do to people? Absolute joke. The employees are a joke. Do not come to this location you'll just get a run around. And these people get paid with our tax dollars. No wonder everyone drives around with expired tags and licenses now I get why.

I am almost certain DMV employees get a bonus for every minority they do not serve. The woman who "helped" us told us that the actual requirements to get a state ID are different than the requirements that are on the DMV website. She tried to come up with every excuse imaginable not to help us. It was like pulling teeth for 2 years trying to get a driver's license for an American Born non felon. We actually had been trying to get his ID for over 2 years. Thank you DMV for doing your part to make the lives of minorities and people living in poverty that much harder.
