I brought my elderly cat, Lexi, here during an emergency last month. They were able to take her at the last minute and were very kind and supportive. They called to check in on her every day while I was caring for her at home and although she didn’t make it, she really received the best support ❤️‍🩹

They even sent a card for Lexi after her passing. I’m very grateful for the whole team here.

AVOID THIS CLINIC AT ALL COST! My dog suffered a tail injury during a routine anal gland expression at AnimaPlus. Two technicians took him to a back room for the procedure, returning in just minutes. On the walk home, he showed signs of pain and discomfort in his tail, something I'd never witnessed before. At home, he continued to cry and lick his tail. I contacted the clinic right away and returned later that day to see Dr. Bayard. He confirmed my dog was in pain and that his tail was sensitive to the touch. Despite acknowledging the timing of the injury, occurring immediately after the anal gland expression, Dr. Bayard attempted to diagnose unrelated illnesses, disregarding my statement that my dog was perfectly fine before the appointment.

Days later, I received a voicemail from the AnimaPlus director, sounding irritated, requesting to talk to me to know what happened. However, only the technicians know what occurred in the back room. To this day, the clinic has offered no apology or acknowledgment of responsibility. While I'm relieved my dog recovered within a few days, I remain horrified by this experience.

I'm so grateful to have this vet in the neighbourhood! Dr. Bayard is empathetic and knowledgable, and has been wonderful with my guinea pigs, one of whom has ongoing health issues. The whole team is kind and helpful and I really appreciate that someone always call to follow-up on how your pet is doing. I truly feel like my piggies are in good hands.

Sympathique et professionnel, le vétérinaire est très généreux de son temps et de son expertise. C’est clair qu’il aime bien les lapins et qu’il est un expert. Nous avons reçu d’excellents conseils et de ressources sur le bien-être des lapins, des suivis ponctuels lors du traitement de la pododermatite de Luna, des rappels de contacter l’hôpital avec toute question et des réponses rapides. L' Hôpital vétérinaire Anima Plus Laurier est l' hopital idéal pour mes oiseaux, et cela depuis douze ans déjà ! C' est le Dr Jean- Marc Bayard qui s' en occupe, et quel merveilleux vétérinaire ! Très compétent, et si gentil avec tous les animaux, et avec les gens aussi! Tous les autres membres du personnel sont très aimables aussi, et l' atmosphère est calme et bienfaisante!
