Great place. We were part of a charity food distribution and we served over 250 people in need of a meal. That was a great day

The supervisor of the complex needs to be replaced. I went to have my dog groomed at one of the kiosks there and, though I have never been there before nor has he ever met me before, was saying I couldn't come in because I was already there (which I wasn't). Then, after he relented and let me in he had volunteers routinely come up to me asking what I was doing there. After explaining 4 separate times with four separate individuals, the supervisor still continued to harass me and then booted me out after I told him to stop harassing me and to leave me and my dog alone.

I strongly suspect that this guy 1) cannot differentiate between White people and 2) possible has it in for disabled people (I'm in a wheelchair).

I will NEVER go there again for ANY reason and would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

Erik and team make a great job feeding people in need and their hearts are awesome. My coworkers and me had the great honor to help and they accepted our donation to feed hundreds of people. Beautiful what we can do together.

Giving one star because they treated me like a liar when I went through a hard time and needed bus passes for the work week(check was late and the late fees for rent took my fare for the next week). I'm not homeless but not wealthy either. They gave me 1 card and requested extra info (stubs) because apparently my schedule looked fake to them or somethin. I came back with it, which was inconvenient enough in itself, and SURPRISE... they didn't have any. Wasted my time coming back again and still nothing. Incompetence at it's finest. I'm not homeless or a liar. Don't treat me like that. I don't care how many of em lied to you. It's mad easy to use my name and call the job and verify. I brought what was asked of me and it still wasn't enough? Trash.

A lot of compassionate workers are there to help get you the assistance you need to get back on your feet.

But of course there's bad everywhere you go.
These ⭐️⭐️ are because this place is run and looks like a prison. There's a lot of armed guards around. Upon arrival, you see what I would describe as "Vegas Skidrow" so could appreciate so many rude guards around when you need them.

When I needed help after losing my job, Mariela, one of the former volunteers, provided me with the emotional support I needed at the time. Now that she is gone, there is not really anyone there who cares like they should. It appears they want to put bandages on people's problems, but not actually assist with getting people on their feet.

I came by this place to receive my final set of bus passes, and the owner of this place mentioned a voucher that would assist with a deposit to move into my own place. I was super excited, as I was looking to move out of my current place of residence. The owner explained to me what I had to do, and I did that. He wanted me to verify that I do not qualify for the CHAP program. I found out this information from two places, at a county office location, and the county office website. I emailed this information to the owner, and he confirmed via email that would suffice. I email the owner again regarding the voucher, and he gives me a different story after not replying to my emails for a week.

Now, if I am literally trying everything to help myself to get on the right track again, and it's CONFIRMED that I did what was told of me to do, then I should receive this assistance, right? Nope. I guess they just want to put bandages on people's issues, to keep them destitute.

If you need bus passes for 5 weeks after starting a new job, this is the place to go. If you need REAL help, please look elsewhere.
