I rented during the busy holiday season , these guys were on top of it! Both picking up & dropping off was quick and easy. What really stood out was their ability to go above and beyond. I rented the wrong size truck and returned it the next day; fully expecting to pay the full price of a new rental fee. The gentleman at the counter didn’t charge me for a new rental and I was back on the road in minutes!

Great location, friendly and efficient staff. Very busy location as well with it being a Friday and 1st of the month so plan ahead. The 19.95 is a bit misleading once you add on the insurance, price per mile and gas. Our total of 20 miles cost us 72.00. It was worth if but still not the 19.95 + 11.00 in gas.

I don't know if all of these workers were just having the worst days of their lives or what? But here's the story. My husband went into U-Haul to ask questions about renting a storage unit and literally all of the workers looked at him and ignored him. Just blatantly... for NO REASON. My husband is literally the sweetest, most laid back guy. He called the uhaul help line (1-800 number) to ask questions about availability and the people on the phone made him go back inside. The second time he walked in there the general manager walked out and literally said "He's still here?!" in a rude tone. Like what the hell is wrong with these people? Matt, Dylan, Justin, Joseph... you suck! Definitely make the drive to Red Bluff or go elsewhere if you need a unit.

I needed a 5x9 trailer today. There are three out front and they are labeled “One way/In Town” and then I’m told I can’t rent one because they’re only for one-way because they don’t make the location any money. Ive rented from this location before with no problem. The clerk also said I would have to go up the interstate to rent from a franchise location.

Usually, we have excellent service and pretty solid equipment to rent. We've rented here MANY times over the years, had hitches installed, etc...

Recently, we rented a 26-foot truck that had some decent front end damage. I didn't realize how much until I got it up to speed on the freeway. SERIOUS front-end shake developed along with soft braking. When I pulled over, I discovered the passenger rear set of tires, and both were missing several rows of tread. All 4 corners of tires were balding...

The front passenger corner had more substantial damage than I thought. When I crawled under the substructure was bent, fuel tank was dented, front control arms...

There is ZERO way that truck passed ANY safety inspection before I drove it away. Luckily, I've driven those trucks before and limped it where I had to go. I could only imagine the damage someone could have done if that truck lost a tire loaded. Could have killed anyone in it and many nearby.

Uhaul comped 1/4 tank of gas that I didn't refill as a comp... the more I think about it, the more I'll use a different service from now on. Sad since I've relied on them for almost 20 years at that location.

Side note... Uhaul asked me for a review, but only posted the 1 positive sentence I gave them about their counter employees. Shameful

I had no issues. Hour late and my reservation had been cancelled and the Customer service person went in and reopened my reservation and it was all quick and painless. Overall the fine experience.

Maybe put a safety awareness sticker in the Silverados somewhere somebody can know that without putting on your seat belt the car won't go in gear...! Other than that you guys are doing great thanks for your hospitality and great customer service

I don't know about the store itself but I have to tell you I had a long distance move with U boxes. Shout out to Jocelyn (dropping off the boxes) she was so kind , answered all of my questions and reassured me I would be ok. That meant so much to me because I really didn't want to leave Redding but had to put others first. The second person I want to thank is Seleste and she trained Jocelyn. Both of their driving skills were phenomenal. Seleste was also extremely kind and let me show some emotion as I saw my stuff leave. This was a sad move for me so again much appreciated. Thank you so so much!
